Google returns its servers to China

Google's search engine has once again started working in China, where users had been temporarily blocked from accessing the site.
Google's search engine has once again started working in China, where users had been temporarily blocked from accessing the site.

The China site now has all services running, apart from Gmail.

Google and China were unable to agree on censorship issues in the country earlier this year, with Google at one stage saying it would be prepared to leave the country.

In March Google moved its servers out of mainland China to Hong Kong, allowing some Chinese users to access the site without censorship blocks.

But earlier this month, Google renewed its license with the Chinese government without making any concessions regarding censorship.

Google back in business in China

what a thick face of google!, if they are really out to spit the chinese goverment, they have to kept their word about freedom!, but now look! google technically begging to the chinese goverment for mercy just to be able to operate in china, and the chinese goverment even blatantly block all user to access google site, a very wrong move by google (maybe initiated by us goverment for the interest of CIA?) resulted with humiliation and nose dive of their stocks values
